Baking 101:CARROT CAKE RECIPE


Assalamualaikum,lovelies ❤

Tengah buat apa tu?Ada tak yang tengah bake malam malam ni? If tengah bake continue baking and jangan gopoh okay.Take your time.Yang tak buat apa-apa tu,I have a new recipe for you guys.

Actually mar nak tunggu hari ahad baru nak post new recipe sebab hari sabtu nak buat congo bars.Anyway mar post dulu recipe yang mar pernah buat before this.Since this recipe share the same frosting as previous recipe and mar dah buat banyak kali cake ni,so I think I should share this recipe first.Let's start baking!

Ingredients:

❤ 1 cup walnuts or any kind of nut yang korang suka or raisins or nak tak nak letak pun takpa.

❤ 2 1/2 cup grated carrot (if ada food processor sangat membantu)

❤ 2 cup of all purpose flour/self raising flour/plain flour

❤ 1 teaspoon baking soda

❤ 1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

❤ 1/2 teaspoon salt

❤1 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (boleh kurangkan or lebihkan ikut citarasa sendiri)

❤4 large eggs (kalau ada medium size ada solution just refer entry tips for beginner dalam blong ni)

❤1 1/2 cup castor sugar

❤1 cup of corn oil/vegetable oil(if nak tak nak guna oil kena guna butter but so far recipe carrot cake pakai oil and it moist your cake eventhough you refrigerate your cake)

❤2 teaspoon vanilla essence(please use pure because kita dapat more taste and bau vanilla tu)

Steps:

1)Preheat your oven at 180 degree celcius.

2)Ifyou use walnut,bakar sampai jadi perang.Just adjust the temperature if you bakar pakai oven.Kalau tak berani takut hangus just brown kan using frying pan atau kuali ke.

3)Sieve all the dry ingredients.Jangan sieve suga sekali,tak perlu pun.Tujuan sieve ni supaya kita dapat bater yang smooth and nak hilang kan lumps yang ada kat dry ingredients.

4)Beat the eggs and sugar until fluffy and incorperated.

5)Masukkan corn oil and vanilla essence and beat until combine

6)Add all the dry ingredients and stir using spatula or beat using hand mixer or stand mixer till everything combine.

7)Add the carrot(make sure after grated tu squeeze a little bit keluarkan juice so that cake kita tak soggy) and the walnuts and stirred till combine using a spatula.

8)Put the batter in the baking pan yang dah butter and layer with parchment paper, bake for 40 minutes.

9)Addition:Yang part bakar walnuts tu bakar yang tu first baru preheat your oven.Oh please check your cake around 35 or 30 minutes,insert toothpick or cake tester kalau dah clean dah boleh keluarkan.Sebab every oven different.

As usual dah keluarkan dari oven,let it cool for 15 to 20 minutes baru keluarkan dari acuan.For the frosting must use creamcheese frosting,resepi ada kat previous post.Sebelum berlabuh tirai, mar bagi lah satu gambar carrot cake yang mar buat but masa ni creamcheese frosting tak jadi.Belum dapat resepi yang betul.Still try and error but resepi yang mar bagi tu memang menjadi.So use that resepi okay >-<


My first time decorate a cake,still not enough.Kena belajar banyak lagi.Huru hara masa decorate kek ni sebab creamcheese yang tak menjadi tu.Ni masa kali ke dua buat kut.I'm not really sure about that.Lepas ni kalau jadi berpuluh-puluh gambar mar tangkap.Ni pun kalau bestfriend mar tak suruh tangkap gambar memang takda lah gambar untuk korang.
